Was charged $300.00 extra because the maid found a cig butt in a cup of water from where I had smoked it earlier outside. There was no ashtray close by so I put it in my cup.of water. And took it up to my room to throw in the trash as there was no trash can by this particular outdoor area . The manager said the room smelled like smoke....and had to be fumigated. I never smoked in the room....until this is resolved I will no longer stay at a Holiday inn Express...we travel.all year round and stay at Holiday Inn on a regular basis. I'm waiting on corporate to handle things ..I was so upset by this $300.00 charge ..I cried .
Only things that I would do to change the room: the towel rack in the bathroom is directly across from the toilet, so when I got up, I hit my head!! Also, there's no soap dish in the shower. Everything else, excellent...oh, and the price was right too.
This is a really nice hotel. The only problem was with sound insulation as when people walked in the bedroom above it was noisy below. But generally a good place to stay.
Nice rooms but poor customer service
Hotel was alright I didn't like how pushy the sales rep was. The internet wasn't good enough to stream but plenty for searching. Rooms were clean and up to date. There limited food options but more than enough for an overnight stay. Definitely would suggest however room 400 had some mechanical noise during the night on the pool side wall.
Excellent, courteous and helpful staff. We checked in late while traveling South. They gave us a room which was handicapped accessible, which was perfect for us. My husband is a cancer warrior, and uses a walker. A beautiful room with very comfortable King bed. Very quiet and very vlean. Hotel is either new or recently remodeled. Yummy breakfast with lots of choices runs 6-9am.
