Their boarding facility is great. The dog area has a gate so each animal can have an inside and outside spot. If you have a dog that has to be crated all day every day, this would be a good option as the dog would have lots more room and gets attention and walks several times a day. I think they only charge $10 for this. The cat facility is the Taj Mahal of cat boarding. Every cat has a window as an example.
I live in Roanoke and pass numerous vet clinics to go to Noah's Ark. That in itself tells you what I think of this clinic and the doctors.
Noah's Ark had a change of ownership and personnel in the past year. I have followed Dr. Tatum with my animals for about 25 yrs (does that say anything about my level of trust of her?) so I now go to Noah's Ark. My experiences with Dr. Gonzalez there have also been very positive. I love the personnel as they are so pet oriented. My Golden gets laser treatments on her hips and back frequently and she thinks she's in heaven as while one vet tech does the treatment, the other one rubs and massages her....I have laughingly told them it's like she's had a spa treatment.
Dr. Tatum also does home pet visits so if you have animals that don't like to ride or you want them to be treated in their home environment when possible, call and make an appointment. When I was working with limited time, she came to my home for years. I only took them in to the clinic when they needed a procedure.
I find this clinic to be very reasonable in costs and procedures recommended. They don't do needless procedures to up the cost but they do what is needed for the safety of the animal. (A friend recently took an elderly cat there at my recommendation for teeth cleaning and the cost was half that quoted at another clinic)
