This "Brother" Jones had told me he worked at a nearby college. I think it was Ferrum. He also had referred to me as "Bud" and "Buddy" and he raised his eyebrows when speaking with me.

In reference to the "3 blocks" I mentioned, They do a 3 block rotation of a principals class and then they do a "high council meeting" or something like that.

I would like to give 2 stars for this church here. I would strongly suggest the leadership at this church to change their ways and be less proud and arrogant and treat everyone the same. Without the different treatment of guests.

I found a few of the members pleasing to speak with and engage in conversation. One of them was a "Brother" by the name of "Brother" Rogers. I do not remember this man's first name. However Brother Rogers was a very down to earth gentleman. He said he was a professor of psychology in Roanoke at one of the hospitals there. He was an exception of some of the members there. Whom were proud or arrogant.

Another member I found arrogant was a "Brother" Jones. (They are all referred to as "Brother" and the females as "Sister" )

The people at this church love each other and love visitors to their church.

Not a bad church at all. I have visited this branch a few times. Once with my grandmother, once with my wife and once by my lonesome. Its just a standard Mormon church. I have been to several Mormon churches over the years. The members at this Rocky Mount branch did not stand out to me as arrogant though I will say the member that was mentioned "Brother Jones" or Jason Jones was a little strange. His wife "Sister Susan" was nice. Jones said he was a dean at the local Ferrum college. I found him strange and he didn't seem happy to see me there at all. I got an impression kind of like "What are you doing here?" from him. Jones also said he had met one of my relatives who went to Ferrum and "often spoke to them" in his words. However when I asked them about this guy, they said they hadn't a clue who he was and did not even know he was a dean at the college. As I said kind of a strange guy. Other members were very nice and welcoming though I still haven't been introduced to every member. There was a very nice young girl at the door on my last visit. She appears to have some sort of mental issue, like palsy or something like that. She was so sweet and loving and was very happy to greet everyone who walked in the church. It brightened up my day seeing her there and greeting everyone.

In addition, when I went to their services some of the members were arrogant or proud. In particular I thought the man teaching one of their 3 blocks, "Brother" Bruington, was rather arrogant and I don't care if that offends him either. The man referred to me as "Bud" and also used "Buddy" to refer to me. I am a grown man with children. Don't talk to me like I am a child.

The church of Jesus christ of Latter day saints here, on highland ave. I went to their service 2 times back about a year or so ago. Sometimes the missionaries still knock on our door since we live closeby. My honest impression of the church was it was man-centered. Not focused truly on Jesus christ.

"Come as you are...but do not expect to remain as you are", was once said to All who seek to draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ and be perfected in him.

The reason is because I kept hearing talk about "bless us for our prophet" and "Joseph smith"

Well I'm sure the church here will delete this as soon as they see its a bad review but I'll write it anyway.

This tiny Branch is part of a world wide Church. I stopped counting the locations I have visited. All know God, the Eternal Father and worship Jesus as the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer, and All are guided by words of Prophets old and new through the gift and power of the Holy Ghost unto salvation. All sit before one table to feast on the words of God. All honor natural family, virtue, education, and religious freedom. All are welcome...
